Review

Sasha here! ๐Ÿ‘‹

I was scrolling through Itch when I recognized this one from the recent Wholesome Snack where they announced it's sequel! So I figured I should probably check it out. :)

I'm happy I did. The game is simple, but it's cute. The gameplay consists of exploring for letters (usually words) to type out to perform actions in the world. You can think of it like a point and click adventure where you type instead of clicking.

Where the game shines is with it's art and music. This definitely leverages the skills of the creators. The art is consistent with nice little animations and the music transitions through various themes pretty softly for a game jam game.

It's a chill relaxing game ๐Ÿ‘

Final Thoughts

This game is from 2021 so it's not some new undiscovered indie game. It doesn't really fit the games we usually cover but with it's sequel coming up I figured it was worth checking out. It represents well what you could expect from the sequel. I believe the sequel will be well received once it releases.

I would recommend anyone to play it. It's not long and it's a charming experience. Maybe 10-15 minutes. Just know that you'll want to play it with a keyboard. ;)

Coming Up...

This Friday we're looking at another Steam game to share with you. I've been having some good luck finding games through VG Insights lately... so I'll likely be finding something off of there to try out.

Talk soon,
