Review

Sasha here! ๐Ÿ‘‹

I was mind blown with this game. You move around the world by manipulating your perspective, zooming in\out, to "teleport" around the map and through mirrors. It's hard to do justice in words what this puzzle game has to offer. If you like Portal-like puzzles then you'd like this probably.

If you know film, the teleport effect is essentially a dolly zoom.
The camera moves toward/away from the subject while changing the field of view. This effect makes the subject appear to maintain a constant distance from the camera when in reality the camera is actually moving. It's this camera movement that's used for the game's main mechanic. If you've seen JAWS.. the movie with the shark.. then you might be familiar with the dolly zoom effect.

I had no idea what I was getting into when I started playing. The game introduced me to the mechanics slowly in a well thought out starting area. Slowly the world opened up and I was free to explore in any direction; another thing I really like in games.

The most impressive thing this game does is teach you how to play without using text. Sure, there are some times when the game gives you a little text but not for the moments that would ruin player discovery. It lets you discover the mind bending mirror tricks and you're left to just do you.

Lastly, a subtle feature I liked was how the game fills in with colour as you explore. The walls and items get "painted" as you get near them. This, at first, I thought was just a neat little visual feature, but it serves as a way to indicate where you have and haven't been. It's small but nice when you're trying to navigate to new places in the world.

Final Thoughts

This game is a fantastic puzzle game. It was released December 1st, 2025, and is doing fairly decently on Steam. It is priced a little high for my taste but definitely worth checking out when it goes on sale.

Again, it's hard to do this game justice with words alone. I'd recommend checking out the trailer on Steam and maybe wishlisting it for later.

Coming Up...

Next Tuesday I'm feeling another Steam game. I've found a few interesting ones on top of the one today. Exciting games so far this December! :)
