Review
Sasha here! ๐
This isn't exactly a new game. I was released over a year ago on Steam. I wanted to share it though because, as the title suggests, it's a short adventure... and it's free to play!
I also found particularly interesting that MrSuicideSheep developed a game โ a name I'm more familiar being associated with a music channel on YouTube.
Right off the bat I had big expectations for the soundscape in the game and let me tell you, it did not disappoint.
Music
I can't put words to how amazing the sound and music were in this game. Without the music this game would just be another platformer.
It really makes the game stand out.
Story
It's there, mysterious, and it compliments well the atmosphere that the visuals and music are creating. It felt layered, as much as it could be for 1-2 hour experience. The environment mostly told the story using finely crafted pixel art.
Should You Play It?
If you're looking for a chill hour or two then I would recommend. The game is a platformer so if you have trouble navigating or controlling these types of games I would still recommend you checkout a let's play or something. It wouldn't be the same as playing it yourself but there's something to be appreciated in how the music makes this game something else. You can find it on Steam for free.
