All of the color has been wiped from Huey's world! Run, jump, dash, swipe, and pogo your way through this hand-drawn platformer to restore color to the land.

Review

A quick review today.

Pigment is a short platforming game where you paint the world in as you jump, attack, and zip through the world.

Overall it's very well polished in terms of mechanics and visuals; although, the music has much to be desired. You wouldn't be missing much if you went into the options to turn down the volume.

Difficulty wise the game progresses smoothly but can be tricky if you're not familiar with pogo jumps in games like Hollow Knight.

Otherwise it's pretty casual and probably a great game for young kids. The visuals are neat but don't ultimately add anything to the game play.

Final Thoughts

The game is free and it took me less than 20 minutes to complete the game. It's cute and fun to fill the world in (although it's not a requirement to do so).

Coming up...

It sort of feels like the world has slowed down the past few weeks. I'm expecting things to get busier now that the holidays are over and people start getting back online.

We're also expecting a newsletter from Annie this Friday. Maybe she can capitalize on this new year vigor.

Talk soon,
